In the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, issues of The Burr are knownby the names of their editors, not just by what's on their covers or what semester or year they came out.

This magazine will come to be known as "Amy's Burr."

But it really doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the people from University Archives, University Photographers and other organizations, who went out of their way to help me and my staff find the information we needed.

It belongs to my teachers, without whom I wouldn't have the skills necessary to complete such an undertaking.

It belongs to the writers, illustrators, photographers, designers and advertisers whose work appears on its pages. And to the editors and art director who helped me piece the entire thing together.

To everyone who has already read and reread the issue, thank you. To those of you who haven't, enjoy.
